- Research, recommend, and oversee long term and large scale maintenance projects that:
- are required by city or township authorities,
- will improve or expand the houses,
- will increase the longevity of the houses,
- will prevent deterioration and further damages to the houses, or
- are requested by Maint Com or maintenance managers
- Prepare a list of major maintenance projects for the annual budget.
- Research opportunities for expansion of the ICC by investigating potential property purchases. Oversee all purchases and renovations in preparation for occupancy.
- Advocate for affordable student housing.
- Assist the Director of Maintenance Services in the execution of their duties however possible.
- Educate maintenance managers on major maintenance issues.
- Prepare and periodically review those parts of the ICC's business plan containing long term development goals.
