ICC-Conducted Inspection Schedule
Every 3 years the city of Ann Arbor will do an inspection of every room in your house to ensure that the house is up to Ann Arbor housing code. During off-years the ICC Maintenance Team will conduct house inspections in the same manner. This is to encourage and assist houses in doing general maintenance upkeep each year as opposed to being overburdened every third year.
During City and ICC inspections every room in the house is inspected. Members should be notified that their rooms will be inspected. It is helpful if their room is clean and clear of debris on this day. Members should know that whole-house inspections take a lot of time, so the inspection crew will arrive at the house as early as 9:00AM. Below is this year's ICC Inspection Schedule.

After the ICC inspection, all items that do not meet city or ICC codes are compiled into a report given to the in-house president and maintenance manager. All items will be given a correction period in which they are to be repaired. If the house needs assistance with any of the items they are encouraged to fill out an RFA so that the ICC can provide the best assistance possible. Any items not corrected in the allotted time frame will be repaired at the house's expense.
