Structure

 

Officer: Maintenance Representative
Staff Representative: Maintenance Coordinator
Voting Members: The Maintenance Managers, one from each house.

 

 

Purposes

 

  1. Make connections between maintenance managers and learn from each other.
  2. Train and educate maintenance managers on the skills necessary to maintain a house and on ICC maintenance issues on the whole.
  3. Have the power to approve house projects and loans; monitor the projects budget and minor maintenance budget.
  4. Review and update the Maintenance Policy Manual.
  5. Formulate Maintenance Standing Rules changes for recommendation to the Board of Directors.
  6. Ensure that all houses are well maintained, and that all problems are being handled properly.

 

 

Important Info:

 

Meetings are every other Tuesday at 7:00pm.  Look in the Maint News for locations and dates.  Proposals must be submitted to the Maintenance VP by the end of the Thursday preceeding the meeting in order to be added to the agenda.

 

All houses must send a representative to the maintenance meeting or they will be fined (minimum $15/hr). If your house is unable to find a representative, you must notify the Maintenance VP prior to the meeting.
