Renaissance Cooperative House

Renaissance shares a building with O'Keeffe on the edge of the North Campus of the University of Michigan. The majority of Ren members are graduate students, although we have a substantial number of undergraduates, professionals who work in the area, and sometimes local artists, etc. Renaissance is home to many international students from all over the world. This makes it a great place to interact with people from various backgrounds and cultures. We have a quiet, woodsy setting next to University of Michigan's North Campus, home of the Engineering, Music, and Art & Architecture schools, where many of our members are students.
There is a free University of Michigan bus that goes to Central Campus about every 10 minutes on weekdays and every 15 minutes on weekends, and the ride takes only 10 minutes. Cats are allowed in large single rooms in Russell and Karma suites. Christopher Walken is an honorary member of Renaissance Cooperative House.
