2025 Spring/summer Housing

The ICC will begin accepting contract renewal requests and new member applications for the 2025 Spring/summer contract period 12:00 PM, Monday, March 17, 2025 . This contract period consists of Standard contracts (Spring/summer Term, Spring Term, Summer Term) and Non-Standard Contracts (start and end dates other than listed below). Please do not apply before March 17th; you will only delay application and House Preference form processing.

General information

The Spring/summer contract period begins May 5, 2025 and ends August 15, 2025. There is no holding over past August 15th, unless a member has already signed a fall/winter contract.

All rooms, by default, are signed as singles (except Mandatory Doubles as defined by the ICC). If you wish to have a roommate, you should type their name in the roommate section of the Housing Preference form. Each member must list their preferred roommate’s name on their renewal form. Otherwise, we will reserve members in separate spaces. If one person is living in a Baker or Escher Mandatory Double, that room will be listed as having an open space.

Charges may include food purchases, but the amount of food available and the number of house-prepared dinners is less than during the fall/winter contract period.

Parking is handled strictly at the house level.

How to apply

Only individuals who have never submitted and completed an application should proceed to the ICC application page and submit an application.

Everyone else must complete a Housing Preference Form. You will need your Rent Manager account number; you should be able to find it in the Notes section of your Rent Manager account.

Submission of a form will automatically result in an emailed contract, unless the requested house is full; please list four different house choices. There are no waitlists for the Spring/summer contract period. Forms will be processed in order of date received, and whether the request is for a standard or non-standard contract. Contracts for standard contracts will be issued starting March 18, 2025; contracts for all non-standard contracts will be processed starting April 13, 2025

Non-Standard Contracts

Non-Standard contracts are any contracts with dates other than what is listed above. These contracts will be issued beginning April 13, 2025. Charges and payment due dates will be determined based on the requested contract dates, additional payment information is listed below.

Member Charges

Members who have signed a fall/winter contract do not have to purchase any additional shares. New members will have to purchase shares (25 shares/$250) and pay a one time, non-refundable membership fee of $100.

In order to receive a roommate credit, house rosters must be posted each summer month (May, June, July, August) in a house’s google drive. Only then will the roommate credit be added to a member’s account. House rosters are the responsibility of the house president.

Spring/summer charges are term-based, not month-based. Members who sign standard contracts will make payments in equal installments, according to the schedule below:

Example: Member A’s Spring Term charge total is $1,000. Their minimum May 5th payment would be $500; any remaining balance would be due June 1st.

Non-Standard contracts charges are based on the dates signed.

Again, House Presidents must update house rosters each summer month (May, June, July, August). Only then will we add the roommate credit to a member’s account.
