The MLK scholarship is a monthly award for members who are students with financial need, and the Bridge scholarship is a one-time award for members experiencing a period of financial hardship, due to job loss, medical costs, or other reasons. In 2024-25, the ICC awarded $73,807 to members in MLK and Bridge scholarships, with $35,000 of that coming from current members contributing through their monthly charges and the remainder coming from the endowment fund. test test Capital Investment Reserves are used for major renovations at our houses and large critical maintenance projects. The Luther and Joan Buchele Sustainability Fund assists with improvements that make our houses more energy efficient. The A.K. Stevens Development Fund builds up cash reserves to be used as equity in the purchase or construction of land and/or facilities that will increase the number of members served. The Alumni Fund is funded by a small yearly stipend from member fees, and donations.
