Summer MLK Scholarship Application

Dear Scholarship Applicant, 
 
Document Uploads. To assist in the efficiency of completing applications, all upload fields are required. There are no exceptions. All questions regarding document uploads may be directed to the Finance Committee via vp.finance@icc.coop
 
Final Decision. All award decisions will be made by the Finance Committee. All recipients will be notified by email shortly thereafter. All questions regarding final decision may be directed to the Finance Committee via vp.finance@icc.coop
 
If you have a concern regarding a finance or scholarship policy or decision, or you have a special circumstance for us to consider, you may follow the appeal procedures below:

1. Present your situation to the VP for Finance (vp.finance@icc.coop.) All options for resolving the situation should be explored with the VP before moving to the next step. If the situation cannot be resolved, the VP will determine the course to take in Step Two.
2. One of the following actions will be taken:
   • Your situation will be presented by the VP for Finance to the Finance Committee. This occurs when unusual circumstances are presented that may require exceptions to standard finance or scholarship policies or procedures.
   • You may complete an appeal form here and schedule an appointment to discuss your circumstances with the Finance Committee. This occurs when unusual circumstances do not exist but a Finance Committee policy is questioned, or when a student is not satisfied with a policy as explained by the VP for Finance.
3. If, after completing Step 2, you feel the situation warrants further consideration, you may ask for a review and consultation with the Board of Directors.

In order to completely and fairly review your application, the Finance Committee requires the same documentation from every applicant. We require a scan or screenshot of official documents and unfortunately cannot accept unofficial documents (unless otherwise explicitly stated).
 

**ATTENTION**
 
Your documentation must reflect your ability to pay your full tuition and all ICC charges. Please use the Text Box below to verify the total amount of tuition and how it is paid for. All of your claims must be backed up by the documentation you’ve already submitted. If you cannot prove your claims, the Finance Committee cannot consider them.
 
Example 1: For this summer, the total cost of my tuition is $5,000 (see Financial Aid Letter). The total cost of my charges are $3,200 for the term. My parents pay for half of my rent (see Relevant Documents). I pay the remainding $1400 of my rent from my job (see Pay Stub). $2,500 of my tuition is covered by scholarships and the remaining $2,500 is paid for by my loans (see Financial Aid). 
 
Example 2: For this summer, the total cost of my tuition is $0 because I am not enrolled in courses. My charges are $3600 for the summer and I pay that with my job (see pay stub).
