Brian Donovan (he/him)

General Manager
Brian’s experience includes managing, developing, consulting, and lobbying on behalf of housing cooperatives during his time with The Cooperation Group, Collective Seeds Consulting Cooperative, University of Texas Inter-Cooperative Council and Austin Cooperative Business Association.  He has been work to promote and develop cooperatives and democracy for the last 20 years.  Brian has served on the board of directors for NASCO, Campus Cooperative Development Corporation.  He serves as a trustee at the Kagawa Fund and has been the chair since 2012.

Jorja Wegryn-Jones (she/her)

CoCo: President

I moved into Nakamura House in the fall of 2023 and quickly fell in love with cooperative living. I have served as board representative, food steward, and was last year’s Vice President for Diversity and Justice. As a 2025 graduate from the University of Michigan, I am excited to spend my gap year facilitating effective central operations and member involvement to work towards a more affordable and socially responsible ICC. Kyle LaChance (he/him)

House Finance and Accounts Payables Lead

Kyle is a long-term member of the ICC, living in Owen from 2017 until 2021 and in Baker from 2021 to the present. As the Accounts Payable Coordinator, he supports House Treasurers in managing the House accounts across all 16 cooperative houses and works with the VP of Finance and the Director of Finance to develop Treasurer training. He also processes all Share Return Forms and manages the House food accounts payable as well as house credit card accounts and applies fines and fees as assessed by house treasurers.


Elliot Baker (he/him)

Finance Office Liaison

Elliot is a long-time ICC member, serving as Luther treasurer in 2021-22, Luther house president in 2022-23, and VP for Finance in 2023-24., and now lives at Linder. As Finance Department Liaison, Elliot works with FinCom on scholarships, budgeting, financial reporting, and financial policy, provides support to the housing department with the posting of charges, and assists other departments with internal budgeting.


Ron Nelson (he/him)

Director of Housing

Ron is the staff member to contact for any and all contract questions. This includes contract signing and contract release request for both current and prospective ICC members. He advises Membership Committee on any necessary rule updates to make the contract signing process as smooth as possible, and trains all house presidents on contract signing processes. Ron supervises the Front Desk, which is staffed by ICC members from every house. The Front Desk answers all emails and phone calls regarding housing availability, general housing inquiries, merchandise sales, and rental of the ICC truck.


Ari Hoffman (they/them)

CoCo: VP Operations

Hi! I’m Ari and I am a Junior at UofM studying Neuroscience and Spanish on the premed track. Since joining the ICC in 2024, my passion for fostering equity, communication and collaboration has flourished. Serving as my house’s Kitchen Manager and a member assistant on FinCom, motivated me to take on the Vice President of Operations position. I’m looking forward to spending the year improving the operational functioning of the ICC and working together to create a more sustainable, equitable and cooperative future. 


Lenny (they/them)

Director of Member Resources

Lenny is a married futch non-binary lesbian femboi, alum of the ICC, and has graduated from both the University of Michigan’s Biopsychology, Cognition and Neuroscience (BCN) Undergraduate program and the Eastern Michigan University Women’s and Gender Studies Master’s program.

During their residency at Black Elk House from 2015-2017, they reigned as House President and Board Representative and held nearly every house officer position at least once (check out their mural in the mailroom!). Since moving to Ypsi, they’ve worked at the ICC as a temp Spring/Summer Housing Coordinator in 2017 and moved from part-time to full-time staff as Housing Coordinator from 2018-2022.

In their current role, Lenny at a glance manages ICC guff resources. This catch-all role includes management of harm reduction supplies, merchandise, signage, office chocolate, the guff library, Education Center bookings, and guff truck usage, as well as advising the Conifer Chronicle editors, sitting on the Dispute and Resolution Team (DART) and the Emergency House Operations Team (EHOT), offering mediation and conflict resolution facilitation, assisting with house re-theming efforts, and most often being the first person you see when you visit the Rochdale office.


Pink Flowers (she/her)

Director of Education & Training

Pink Flowers is a Black trans artist, pleasure activist and educator, whose work is rooted in ancient shamanic, African trickster, and Brazilian Joker traditions. Pink uses Theater of the Oppressed, Art of Hosting, Navajo Peacemaking and other anti-oppression techniques, as the foundation of her theater-making, mediation, problem-solving and group healing practices.

She is the founder of Award-winning Falconworks Theater Company, which uses popular theater to build capacities for civic engagement and social change. She has received broad recognition, numerous awards, and citations for her community service. She has been a faculty member at Montclair State University, Pace University, and a company member of Shakespeare in Detroit.

She’ll be taking lead for the ICC sponsored Joy Project, a summer residency to explore joy at the intersection of queer, trans, Black, and indigenous identities.


Orpheus Bartleson (It/he)

CoCo: VP Marketing

Orpheus is a senior at the University of Michigan and is studying psychology and sociology. It joined the ICC in the fall of 2023, and has served as Black Elk’s board rep since then. As VP of marketing and recruitment, he is working to meet the ICC’s zero vacancy goal by increasing advertising throughout Ann Arbor and via social media. To improve recruitment, it is expanding communication so members are more aware of events, opportunities, and both the actions and inner-workings of the ICC.


Marceline Jacques

CoCo: VP Diversity & Justice

Marceline is a Junior at the University of Michigan majoring in Biopsychology, Cognition, and Neuroscience. A member of the ICC since fall 2024, Marceline has served as a maintenance manager at Sojourner Truth House, working closely with house members and their co-maintenance manager to ensure things in the house run smoothly. As VP of Diversity and Justice, they are working to provide a platform for marginalized groups within the ICC and promote accessibility within the organization, aiming to uphold the integrity of the ICC as a safe and inclusive space.
